ONT Airport - GSE Level III Mechanic

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday (10:00pm - 6:30am)

Wage: $35/hr - $37/hr

The Gse Mechanic Level III is responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repairs on both motorized and non-motorized airline and aircraft ground support equipment.

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, or modify various systems and components, including engines, transmissions, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and more
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using test equipment and manuals in accordance with safety and industry standards
• Service equipment with necessary fluids such as fuel, oil, hydraulic fluid, water, and compressed air
• Operate, test, and assess ground equipment performance and complete related documentation and parts tracking
• Adhere to safety procedures and demonstrate high standards of customer service and professionalism
• Exemplify Primeflight customer service and safety standards
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Eligible to work in the United States
• 6 years of verified experience required
• Must provide their own tools and toolbox
• Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job location
• Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including Ipads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
• Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
