Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) Surgical Services

Pay Range: 1110.81 - 1166.35

Schedule: 11:00 - 19:30

Contract Length: 16 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: 2 years exp required, will not consider first-time travelers; Trauma Level I and II experience required; CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA license/certs; Steam Sterilizer, Washer Disinfector, VPR Low temp sterilization, Medivator: Scope processing, Scope Buddy, Cart Washer special equipment; holidays required as they fall, as scheduled; weekends required as scheduled; floating may be required within the specialty, other units and sister SRH facilities within scope; on-call not required

Responsibilities:

• Perform sterilization and decontamination procedures within the surgical services environment.
• Float within the department to sterilization and occasionally assist with decontamination tasks.
• Use specialized equipment including steam sterilizers, washer disinfectors, and scope processing tools.
• Adhere to scheduled shifts, including holidays and weekends, as per the hospital schedule.
• Work collaboratively within the team to ensure timely processing of surgical instruments and materials.
