Requisition ID: 19896 Remote Work Available: No Job Title: Dispensary Associate – Part-Time Department: Retail Reports To: General Manager FLSA Status: Regular Non-Exempt Pay: $14.50 an hour (position also eligible for tips) The Dispensary Associate is responsible for guiding a customer on their journey into cannabis by educating them on the benefits and potential side effects. The associate must be knowledgeable to speak to customers about various products and their effects while providing excellent customer service. The primary function of a Dispensary Associate is to facilitate a customer's purchase per state regulations while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Key Duties and Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers. Show empathy and compassion to patients. Deliver TruExperience by upholding elevated patient service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge. Assist managers and shift supervisors with returns according to company policy. Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner. Follow Trulieve policies and procedures. Collaborate with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience. Assist customers with product or device issues. Work with leadership and management to resolve customer issues. Document customer issues and concerns on the customer profile. Maintain a clean and well‑stocked workstation throughout the shift. Perform any other tasks as assigned by management. Additional Responsibilities (Delivery Associate) Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record to fulfill the delivery driver role. Follow all Trulieve policies and procedures as delivery associate. Additional Responsibilities (Online Support) Assist with processing all online orders, including deliveries, within a 2‑hour timeframe. Skills and Qualifications High‑school diploma or equivalent and experience in a similar field. Minimum age 21 (or 18 in CT, PA, and WV). Prior experience in retail or customer service is a plus. Cash handling experience required. Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with diverse personalities. Excellent people skills and effective verbal and written communication. Ability to work without supervision and in a team environment. Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism; maintain confidentiality. Understand and follow written or oral instructions. Interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members. Conversational English proficiency; operate electronic equipment (computer, laptop) and telecommunication devices. Possess mental and physical capacities necessary to perform job duties. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for delivery driver role. Pass a comprehensive background check. Additional Requirements Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday. Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that enable these senses to function adequately to meet position requirements. Function independently with flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work with residents, personnel, and support agencies. Work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people in the facility. Physical Requirements Constantly move/traverse the entire facility, including confined spaces. Accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information and ideas with others, including members of the public. Observe and inspect details at varying ranges. Operate computing devices. Manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., products, packaging, tools, office machinery): push/pull up to 50 lbs; lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Ascend/descend stool, ladder, or steps; position self or objects at floor level (e.g., crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl). Occasionally remain in a seated position. Work Schedule Flexible hours depending on store needs. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Position is up to 25 hours per week and may require after‑hours work based on business needs. Benefits Salary commensurate with experience.
