Ratina Faculty Position

The Department of Ophthalmology at the Morsani College of Medicine, University of South Florida is seeking for a Ratina Faculty (open rank) position to join its clinical care team. This position will provide outpatient care at the USF Health Eye Institute, supervise residents and fellows during their rotations, and provide call coverage to Tampa General Hospital.

Responsibilities

Resident, fellow, and medical student supervision and teaching

Provides outpatient retinal care to patients at the USF Health Eye Institute. Provides TGH call coverage.

Performs other duties as assigned by Department Chair.

Qualifications

Medical degree from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency training program. Must meet university criteria for faculty appointment to the rank of assistant professor, associate or professor. Candidates must have or be eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license. This candidate must obtain credentialing with USF Health.

Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Retina.
