CT/X-Ray Tech – Big Spring, TX

Location: Big Spring, TX 79720
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of CT/X-Ray experience
• Must have experience in both CT and X-Ray modalities
• Previous travel experience required
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and state license required
• BLS required
• Epic experience required
• Strong independent/solo work experience preferred
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Level I/II Trauma experience preferred

Description:

• Provide CT and X-Ray services in an acute-care setting
• Perform CT exams including head, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, vascular and trauma studies
• Perform X-Ray exams across adult and pediatric patient populations
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Perform venipuncture and start peripheral IVs
• Handle image display, post-processing, MPR, ROI measurements, and 3D rendering
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Utilize PACS and Philips equipment

Additional Details:

• Solo position: Must be a strong clinician capable of working independently
• Position covers both CT and X-Ray
• Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• No call
• Night patient ratio: 1:1
• Average daily census: approximately 15
