What You Will Do

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Document procedures meticulously, train new team members or students, and help maintain laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a similar allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
