Job Description
Artfully Young Art Studio is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Part-Time Art Instructor to teach traditional drawing and digital art classes for children and teens in a creative, supportive studio environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging drawing classes using traditional media.
- Instruct digital art classes using Procreate and Clip Studio Paint .
- Demonstrate strong artistic techniques and creative problem-solving.
- Develop lesson plans that inspire students of varying ages and skill levels.
- Provide constructive feedback while encouraging artistic growth and confidence.
- Prepare and organize classroom materials and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and studio staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Art, Illustration, Animation, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing both traditional drawing and digital artwork .
- Advanced proficiency in Procreate and Clip Studio Paint .
- Excellent drawing skills, including perspective, anatomy, composition, and shading.
- Previous teaching experience with children or teens is preferred.
- Friendly, reliable, patient, and passionate about helping students develop their artistic abilities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Late afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Additional hours may be available during school breaks and summer camps.
