SURVEY PARTY CHIEF

Construction Survey Party Chief

We are looking for an experienced Construction Survey Party Chief to support heavy civil and mission-critical projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical surveying skills and leadership experience in construction environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform construction staking, topographic surveys, as-built surveys, and layout.
• Operate GPS and robotic total station equipment
• Read and interpret construction plans and survey data.
• Collect accurate field data and complete required documentation.
• Communicate with project managers, superintendents, and field personnel.
• Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years previous field experience as a Survey Party Chief preferred.
• Proficiency Trimble Survey software (Terramodel, TBC) preferred.
• Proficient with GPS and robotic total station equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and survey data.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Must be a self-starter.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical work.
