Your Role

• Performing thorough assessments of patients, opting for the necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions either independently or in conjunction with physicians, contingent upon credentialing
• Guiding patients and families on wellness, disease prevention, and management
• Prescribing medications and treatments within your practice scope

• Documenting meticulously and accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Needed

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Ohio
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capacity to obtain within 90 days)
