Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Reimbursement Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle department. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including insurance verification, prior authorizations, accounts receivable (A/R), and follow-up tasks. You'll start with insurance verification and receive cross-training across all other functions. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is flexible in handling multiple billing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform insurance verification and obtain prior authorizations
• Manage physician billing, follow-up, and accounts receivable
• Support other revenue cycle functions based on team needs
• Accurately document account activities and updates
• Collaborate with supervisor and team to ensure smooth billing operations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 12 years of physician billing experience strongly preferred (not hospital billing)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Must have reliable transportation (parking is available but can be tight)
