Job Title: Production Assembler Job Description

The Production Assembler works under minimal supervision to assemble fabricated parts according to established procedures and guidelines, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity standards are consistently met to satisfy customer requirements. This role involves reading and interpreting job orders, diagrams, and blueprints, assembling sub-assemblies and accessory components, performing basic electrical wiring, and inspecting finished products to confirm compliance with quality and engineering standards.

• Assemble fabricated parts, sub-assemblies, and accessory components in accordance with established procedures and guidelines to meet quality, safety, and productivity standards.
• Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints to select, position, and install materials and accessory components correctly.
• Wire basic electrical connections by following applicable diagrams to ensure proper function and safety.
• Modify and assemble specialty and custom component parts as required to meet specific customer requirements.
• Inspect products throughout the assembly process to verify conformance to quality, engineering standards, and customer specifications.
• Work collaboratively with peers on the production line and provide guidance or support when necessary to maintain workflow and quality.
• Load, unload, lift, and move materials and finished products using lifting equipment when available, following safe material-handling practices.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices such as tape measures to complete assembly tasks accurately.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area by following all safety procedures and reporting any issues that may affect quality or production.
• Support production demands by working overtime and Saturdays as needed, especially during peak season.

• Ability to read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints for assembly work.
• Proficiency in reading a tape measure and using it accurately during assembly tasks.
• Ability to stand for 9 or more hours during a shift to support continuous production operations.
• Basic math skills to perform measurements and simple calculations required in the assembly process.
• Basic reading comprehension skills to follow written instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Basic ability to read, speak, and understand the English language to communicate effectively and follow work instructions.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools in a production or assembly environment.
• Mechanical aptitude to work with fabricated parts, sub-assemblies, and accessory components.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production or assembly line environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

• Experience working in a manufacturing facility or production environment.
• Familiarity with using tape measures and other measuring devices in a mechanical or assembly setting.
• Comfort working with basic electrical connections using diagrams as guidance.
• Ability to handle general labor tasks such as lifting, loading, and moving materials safely.
• Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays, particularly during peak production season.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure products meet engineering and customer specifications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and contribute to a team-oriented environment.

You will work in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility designed to support comfort and consistency throughout the year. This role is based in a manufacturing facility with a climate-controlled environment that supports consistent working conditions throughout the year. The position operates on a shift schedule that varies between peak and off-peak seasons. During peak season from April to September, the 1st shift runs from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM and the 2nd shift runs from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. During off-peak season, the 1st shift runs from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM and the 2nd shift runs from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Overtime is a regular expectation, particularly during peak season, and Saturday work is frequently required to support production demands. You will work around production equipment, lifting devices, hand tools, and power tools, and will spend most of the shift standing, assembling components, and handling materials in a structured, safety-conscious production environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goodyear, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
