Schedule/Hours Ability to report within 30 minutes to on-call shifts required Key Qualifications Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology; ARRT certification required Valid NYS license, or eligibility to obtain prior to start Minimum of 2 years recent X-Ray Technologist experience Previous experience at a level 1 trauma center Recent experience using c-arm/o-arm in the past 8 months Proven OR experience required Current BLS certification Comfortable lifting/moving patients and standing for extended periods Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Compassionate, patient-centered, and effective team collaborator Primary Duties Validate patient identity and physician orders prior to procedures Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images Explain procedures, answer patient questions, and ensure their comfort and safety Position patients appropriately, adapting to those with limited mobility Adhere to safety protocols and minimize radiation exposure Maintain accurate records, utilize electronic systems, and follow dual patient identifier procedures Notify management promptly of equipment concerns Properly send and label images in PACS Benefits & Perks Tax-advantaged travel stipends and full travel support Premium compensation for your expertise Comprehensive healthcare benefits and 401(k) retirement planning Job security and the chance to explore new regions and vibrant cultures Meaningful adventures in your downtime, from local festivals to natural attractions Apply now to take your imaging skills to the next level while enjoying all that Rochester has to offer!
