Litigation Attorney

McKenna Russo is seeking a litigation attorney to join our growing civil litigation practice. We represent individuals and businesses in a broad range of civil matters, with a particular emphasis on real estate title disputes. Our litigation team is known for providing strategic, practical, and client-focused representation while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys courtroom advocacy, strategic problem-solving, and working directly with clients from the initial consultation through trial or resolution. The ideal candidate is motivated, collaborative, and committed to delivering exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities Provide skilled legal counsel and manage civil litigation matters from intake through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery requests and responses, and other legal filings Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy recommendations Attend court hearings, mediations, depositions, settlement conferences, and trials Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review and witness preparation Communicate regularly with clients regarding case strategy, status updates, and expectations Collaborate with attorneys and staff on complex litigation matters Handle confidential client matters with professionalism and discretion Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active membership in the Maryland Bar in good standing Active membership in the District of Columbia and Virginia Bar preferred 3-7 years of civil litigation experience with portable book of business preferred Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presentation abilities Experience managing cases independently while collaborating within a team environmentStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Commitment to providing outstanding client service Strategic thinker Self-motivated Detail-oriented Community involvement Work Arrangement / Location Location: Annapolis, Maryland Work Arrangement: On-site with flexibility for partial remote work Salary range: $100,000 to $120,000 Competitive salary commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus opportunities Medical, dental, and vision insurance Continuing Legal Education (CLE) support Bar dues and professional membership reimbursement About McKenna Russo McKenna Russo is a growing law firm dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services while fostering a collaborative and supportive workplace.
