What We Seek We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to perform a variety of advanced accounting, financial reporting, and analysis tasks. The ideal candidate brings a self‑driven, detail‑oriented mentality with a commitment to accuracy, sound judgment, and continuous process improvement. What Your Day Will Look Like Contributing to monthly and annual close cycles, including journal entries and account analysis Preparing, analyzing, and reviewing financial statements for accuracy and GAAP compliance Performing general ledger accounting, journal entries, billing and accounts payable entries, and bank/account reconciliations Ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of complex accounts and resolving variances Analyzing financial data and transactions to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Providing guidance and mentorship to accounting clerks and junior staff Researching, analyzing, and resolving complex accounting or reporting discrepancies Preparing and presenting financial reports and analysis to management Ensuring compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and applicable regulations Performing daily cash & banking tasks Performing system setup tasks to ensure accuracy across client projects and revenue reporting You’re perfect for this role if you: Keep high standards of accuracy and organization Enjoy meeting deadlines and feeling a sense of accomplishment Think critically and recognize when something is off Communicate difficult and complicated topics with ease and simplicity Bring strong proficiency in MS Office and accounting software Work well independently and as part of a team Manage your time well and prioritize tasks effectively What You Bring Strong analytical skills with a desire to grow in knowledge, leadership, and responsibility Strong attention to detail Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred 2+ years of progressive accounting experience (prior experience in a consulting or professional services firm is a plus!)
