Registered Nurse Trauma

Schedule: MondayFriday 07:0015:30 or 07:3016:00 On-call: Three call shifts in a two-week period

Requirements: 5 years of experience Trauma Level II experience required ACLS and BLS certifications required Epic charting experience required

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in trauma settings. Administer medications and perform clinical procedures within scope of practice. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Monitor and assess patient conditions, document changes, and report to the healthcare team. Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Compliance / Notes: Orientation: 40 hours Submission requirements include valid CA license, copies of certifications, and professional references. Candidates must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Refusal to float may result in assignment termination and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
