Under the supervision of the manager/director and in collaboration with multidisciplinary treatment team, the Mental Health Professional (MHP) is responsible for providing various modalities of treatment from a trauma informed clinical model that can include group, individual and family therapy. Required Qualifications Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other mental health related field from an accredited school, or from a school in candidacy status by the appropriate higher education council. LCSW with the state of Oregon required. Licensure as an LICSW in the state of Washington required as needed based on work location(s), or Master's Degree in recreational therapy from an accredited school, or from a school in candidacy status by the appropriate higher education council. CTRS national credential is required. Licensure in accordance with the appropriate Oregon state board is required, or Master's Degree in Creative/Expressive Arts from an accredited school, or from a school in candidacy status by the appropriate higher education council. It is also required that this Masters degree be eligible for licensure as LPC or LMFT in accordance with the appropriate Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. LPC or LMFT licensure with the appropriate Oregon state board is required. 2 years relevant experience in an inpatient mental health setting. 2 years experience with adult population preferably in an inpatient setting.
