A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATORBSNB offers construction lending, portfolio lending, as well as investor lending throughout the capital district. BSNB delivers fast approvals (LP) through in-house underwriting and state-of-the-art technology.On a daily basis, you will work closely with your referral network including realtors, builders, and BSNB colleagues to follow-up on customer referrals for the purchase of a home or home equity loan. You will work with new and existing customers regarding their loan applications, take loan applications, and recommend the appropriate lending products. Attention to detail and follow through is a must in this position to enhance the customer experience and maximize the customer relationship. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATORThe ideal candidate will have experience with application origination of mortgage, home equity, or consumer loans. Knowledge of conventional secondary market guidelines preferred.Established referral network is recommended for best success.Knowledge and understanding of TRID and working experience with the integrated Loan Estimate Disclosure(LE) strongly preferred.Experience with Encompass LOS is a plus.Some college preferred but not required.Successful candidates will have strong customer service, sales, and relationship building skills.
