A rewarding long-term contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist interested in making a difference with 4th and 5th grade students. This in-person assignment begins November 18 and continues through March 1, supporting an elementary environment focused on nurturing student wellbeing and progress.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Prior experience in a school setting, specifically with elementary-aged students
- Familiarity and comfort with conducting both Re-Evaluations (RETRs) and Initial Evaluations (IETRs)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of care and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including RETRs and IETRs, for 4th and 5th grade students
- Interpret assessment results and develop reports that guide instructional planning and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance requirements for evaluation timelines and documentation
- Offer consultation and crisis intervention as needed
Working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:40 am to 3:10 pm, allowing for meaningful connections with students and seamless coordination with fellow professionals.
