Staff Electrical Engineer

Overview Use your electrical engineering skills to design and build electro-optical systems to push boundaries for NASA and DoD. We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to contribute to the development of laser products within our R&D team. By taking on both short and long-term projects, you will bring uncharted laser research to the aerospace industry. Key Responsibilities Develop, verify, and upgrade electronics in electro-optical systems. Design and build circuit boards. Develop firmware for FPGA and CPU platforms. Design cable/harness solutions. Prepare documentation. Integrate and test board and system-level assemblies. Troubleshoot engineering issues. Manage multiple concurrent projects of varying scope. Job Requirements BSEE with 10–20 years of applicable work experience. Experience with circuit board design, integration, and troubleshooting. Hands‑on work, including participation in field tests and experiments. Experience using electrical lab equipment in embedded system development. Bonus Areas MSEE and experience developing high‑reliability military and/or space‑flight electronics. Experience with FPGA/CPLD design, simulation, and troubleshooting. Experience with embedded CPU/Microcontroller firmware development, integration, and troubleshooting. Experience with LIDAR systems.
