RN - Critical Care

Role Overview: Provides professional nursing care in critical care settings, adhering to state and hospital policies. Utilizes critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegates tasks appropriately and collaborates with the healthcare team to meet unit goals. Key Responsibilities Assess and monitor patient health status Recognize and respond to changes in condition Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care Delegate tasks to staff members Maintain accurate records and documentation Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members Adhere to relevant nursing standards and protocols Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse licensure in Illinois Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing; Associate Degree with a plan to achieve a Bachelor's within five years 2-5 years of critical care nursing experience Current CPR certification; ACLS certification within six months of hire Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills Flexibility to work various shifts and locations Additional Information Opportunities include full-time and part-time roles, with shift preferences shared during interviews.
