Job Description

MP NexLevel is supporting Meta data center operations and is hiring ISP Cable Technicians to assist with inside plant (ISP) cabling and infrastructure installation. This role focuses on structured cabling within data center environments, supporting critical network and server infrastructure. It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and wants to grow within large-scale data center operations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include installing and routing fiber and copper cabling inside data center buildings, working within server rooms and data halls. Technicians will be responsible for dressing cables in trays and racks, labeling, organizing, and ensuring clean cable management throughout the facility. This role will also support rack and stack of network and server equipment, patch panel terminations, and connectivity testing.

This role will also support basic fiber termination tasks such as prepping cables, working with patch panels, and assisting with fiber pigtails and connections under supervision. Candidates may assist with rack and stack of network and server equipment, as well as connectivity testing.

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience pulling cable, terminating, or working in structured cabling environments – 1–2 years of experience in telecom, or low voltage.
• Basic understanding of ISP (Inside Plant) environments including data center or telecom room work
• Ability to rack and stack equipment, route cables through overhead pathways/trays, and assist with rack builds
• Comfortable working on ladders and lifts when needed and lifting 35+ lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced, indoor technical environment
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work well on a team
