Scientist III

ICON seeks a Scientist III for its Whitesboro bioanalytical laboratory. The role involves conducting validated assays on biological samples from preclinical and clinical trials, maintaining laboratory systems, and analyzing data with increasing independence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct validated bioanalytical assays on samples from preclinical and clinical trials independently
- Prepare reagents, buffers, and solutions according to SOPs and sponsor instructions
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and software systems
- Review, analyze, and interpret assay results against acceptance criteria with decreasing senior staff input
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation, perform peer review, and communicate study status to managers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Biotechnology
- Experience with basic laboratory operations and procedures
- Knowledge of binding assay formats and platforms
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively
- Competency in data review and interpretation
