AHS Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Coos Bay, Oregon. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Float Pool RN – Days Start: 9/22/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Schedule: 3x12 Days Openings: 2 Experience: 2 years Med/Surg required Recent experience: Hospital experience within the past 5 years required Oregon RN license: Can submit without it active; must be willing to obtain Certifications: BLS (AHA) & ACLS (AHA) Certifications don't have to be active at submission but RN must be willing to obtain COVID vaccine: Not required Call: TBD Weekends: TBD Float Requirements This is a true hospital float-pool position. The RN must be comfortable floating between: Medical Care Unit – Med/Surg Post-Surgical Unit Intermediate Care Unit / PCU The nurse needs to be flexible with assignments and comfortable responding to changes in patient acuity and emergency situations. Submission Requirements Resume Skills checklist within the past year Certifications Oregon license or willingness to obtain Important screening point: I'd make sure the nurse has PCU/Intermediate Care competency in addition to Med/Surg , since floating to IMCU/PCU is explicitly required.
