Field Technician - Charlotte

Job Overview Immediate openings in the Charlotte, NC area. Compensation & Benefits Competitive Compensation: $19.00 per hour with guaranteed automatic $.50 increases at 60 and 180 days. Job Responsibilities & Work Schedule Work independently after training, managing time and solving problems Perform small repairs on live gas lines and conduct leak surveys/investigations using modern equipment Walk 5+ miles per day and work outdoors in fresh air Full‑time schedule: Monday to Friday, 1st shift Required Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED Valid, unexpired driver’s license Preferred Qualifications Passion for environmental safety and a commitment to protecting the community Experience with hands‑on technology (phone and computer usage counts) Problem‑solving skills to navigate gas incidents and implement proper solutions Excellent customer service and communication skills to convey findings accurately Attention to detail in locating leaks Physical stamina for outdoor work, walking several miles per day, and carrying up to 20 lbs of equipment Vehicle & Mileage Technicians may use a personal vehicle for daily work use and are eligible for mileage reimbursement.
