Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact as a part-time Physical Therapist supporting students across two buildings in a district-wide role near Springfield, MA. This contract opportunity allows you to work with a manageable caseload of 11–15 students, providing essential physical therapy services that facilitate student growth and participation during the school year.

This position offers flexibility with your schedule—choose any three days per week, totaling up to 18 hours. Services will cover A, B, and C grids, ensuring a variety of support but no PTA supervision is required. For the ideal candidate, this could be a fulfilling, full-year placement starting August 24, 2026.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist eligible to practice in a school setting
• Experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads is highly valued
• Familiarity with implementing and documenting A, B, and C grid service models
• Ability to collaborate with special education teams, students, and families
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and adaptable across grade levels and environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and provide direct physical therapy for students with diverse needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with IEP goals
• Communicate progress and recommendations to educational teams and families
• Travel between two school buildings as needed, managing your caseload efficiently
• Document services and maintain thorough records in compliance with district and state requirements
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and related service providers
