Registered Nurse - ICU

$1884.96/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses for a 13-week travel assignment at a high-acuity facility. This role involves providing critical care to patients in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide specialized critical care nursing to patients in the ICU, ensuring adherence to medical protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor and assess patient conditions, promptly responding to changes or emergencies.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, perform procedures such as cardioversions, bronchoscopies, CRRT, and Impella, and operate advanced medical equipment.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately in MediTech system and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with team members and float to other units such as Telemetry as needed, demonstrating flexibility and resourcefulness.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with unit-specific policies, certifications, and safety guidelines, including BLS and ACLS.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold current RN license and at least 1 year of recent ICU experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to adapt to changing situations.
  
  
• 
  Possess certifications in BLS and ACLS.
  
  
• 
  Experienced with Meditech documentation and familiar with ICU equipment like Alaris pumps and GE monitors.
  
  
• 
  Able to work self-scheduled shifts, including every third weekend, and float to Telemetry or other units as needed.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit a collaborative team approach and professionalism.
