New York State Math Instructor

Virtual Vocations Inc

Seeking experienced educators, the part-time New York State Math Instructor will develop and facilitate online workshops and modules aimed at helping educators pass the New York State Teacher Certification Examinations Field 004: Mathematics, focusing on both math content knowledge and pedagogical approaches. Key responsibilities Collaborate with curriculum developers to create asynchronous online modules and synchronous workshops for math content and pedagogical knowledge Design and implement three to five online modules in Canvas covering relevant math topics such as Algebraic Thinking, Functions, and Geometry Facilitate synchronous online workshops via Zoom for educators needing additional support to pass certification exams Required qualifications Successful teaching experience with children and adults Experience developing curriculum for educators Strong math content knowledge at the secondary level Experience teaching math concepts to adults Master's degree in education, Social Work, or a related field
