Room Service Assistant

Retrieve, break down and set Room Service tables. Assist Food Servers in providing quality service to guests. Exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).

Responsibilities:

• Attend pre-shift meetings.
• Maintain uniform appearance according to established guidelines.
• Set-up side areas and ensure that sufficient supplies are on-hand. Inform Manager of needed supplies.
• Repeatedly check and retrieve from assigned areas all Room Service equipment.
• Break down dirty trays or tables within established time frames.
• Sort dirty china, silverware and glassware into appropriate bus tubs on the Queen Mary.
• Sort linen into the appropriate bins.
• Polish silverware.
• Transport filled bus tubs of dirty china, silverware and glassware to the dish room.
• Make coffee, tea, etc.
• Wipe and clean beverage machines and counters on the beverage line.
• Assist Food Servers as needed.
• Complete assigned side work.
• Assist with maintaining a neat, clean and safe working environment. Turnover/Takeover station according to established procedure.

Qualifications:

• Experience preferred, but will train willing individual.
• Good people skills and a well-groomed appearance.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• High School Diploma.
• 2 years experience in a high volume restaurant.
• Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
• Must be able to complete standard forms.
• Minimum age requirement is 18.
