We also provide HRSA loan forgiveness ! What are we looking for? We are looking for a full time, Licensed Doctor of Osteopathy in NY. This role is in office at Brooklyn, NY (11219) with a flexible four day schedule (10 hours shifts), Monday – Friday (with a possibility to extend on weekends). Pay range for the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) position is $150,000.00 - $181,000.00 per year. Summary The Telehealth Physician (Doctor of Osteopathy) responsibilities include assessing the patients’ medical history and HPI, addressing patients' concerns regarding the use of telemedicine services and to provide personalized care to each patient. To be successful as a telemedicine physician, you should be detail-oriented and able to communicate with patients effectively through various virtual communication channels. Job Duties and Responsibilities Discussing and reviewing patients' medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications Asking patients situation-specific questions to make sure they get the care they need Formulating suitable treatment plans to address non-threatening conditions Prescribing various diagnostic tests to aid in providing accurate diagnoses Analyzing diagnostic test results and explaining them to patients Maintaining accurate records of patient's contact details, medical history, prescribed medications, allergies, diagnoses, and progress Advising patients on suitable diets and exercise regimens to improve their overall health Assisting patients in managing chronic health conditions Recording accurate and timely notes in EMR Maintain accurate and timely documentation by completing all required forms and records before the end of each shift, in alignment with organizational standards and compliance guidelines Requirements Active NY Medicaid # (Can start immediately) EMR experience Licensed Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) in NY 6 months+ experience as a telehealth physician preferred A patient oriented / compassionate disposition Strong attention to detail The ability to consult with patients through virtual communication channels Communication: Effectively communicate to clients, colleagues and team members in a professional manner Timely and professional Responsible and trustworthy Schedule Day shift Mondays to Fridays Ability to Commute/Relocate Brooklyn, NY 11219: Relocate before starting work (Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr Welltel
