Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in COLLINS MS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring agile reliable and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas warehouse spaces parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance access control and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify authorized access for employees visitors and/or deliveries and report suspicious behavior restricted area violations and/or other security-related issues.
• Support facility operations by observing equipment zones trailer and vehicle traffic and high-activity areas for potential concerns while following Allied Universal post orders and client-directed protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
