Gavaldon Dental Corporation is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our onsite team in San Diego, CA.
Position SummaryThe Dental Hygienist is responsible for providing high-quality preventive and diagnostic dental care in a supportive, patient-focused environment. This role includes preparing patients for treatment, performing dental cleanings, and supporting the clinical team with accurate documentation and efficient chairside care.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to patient education—helping patients understand their oral health and take meaningful steps toward long-term wellness.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, and provide preventive oral care services.
Take and record patient vital information as needed, and assist with examinations per clinic protocols.
Take dental radiographs and support diagnostic processes while following safety and infection-control standards.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment recommendations, and personalized care plans.
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and support smooth patient flow within the practice.
Valid dental hygiene licensure to practice as a Dental Hygienist in the applicable jurisdiction.
Demonstrated experience providing preventive dental care, including cleanings and patient education.
Strong understanding of infection control, safety procedures, and clinical best practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients.
Ability to work full-time onsite and support a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment.
Experience in a general dentistry or patient-centered practice setting.
Comfort collaborating with dentists and assisting with treatment coordination and follow-up.
A track record of strong patient satisfaction through clear education and compassionate care.
Experience maintaining organized clinical records and supporting efficient appointment scheduling.
Hour salary: $50 - $60
