Without them, I’d be waiting somewhere, waiting for someone to give me a chance to live...” - Client from Telecare What You Will Do to Change Lives The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) Direct Care Staff provides recovery focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. Provides safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care. The LVN/LPT Direct Care Staff shall work under the general direction of the Program Administrator. Shifts Available:  Full-Time (12-Hour Shifts) | Shift: 8:00am - 8:00pm | Days: either Sunday - Tuesday or Wednesday - Friday Expected starting wage range is $24.71 - $30.54.  Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges.  The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed.  Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

• High School Graduation or G.E.D.
• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) /Licensed

Psychiatric Technician (LPT) program and current licensure

• Current CPR/BLS certificate
• Six months of prior experience providing direct care and special services to

persons with developmental disabilities * Complete the required training for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 6 months of initial employment and obtain RBT certification within twelve months of initial employment or be a Qualified Behavior Modification Professional and maintain credential through employment * Within one year of employment, all direct care staff shall complete both segments of Direct Support Professional (DSP) competency-based training course including the competency tests or pass the department-approved challenge tests applicable to both training segments. Proof of prior successful completion of both training segments and competency exams will meet this requirement * Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver. * Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc. (weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate) * Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc. What’s In It For You* * Paid Time Off: Eligible employees (20+ hours/week) earn PTO each pay period for vacation and personal needs, with pro-rated accrual for part-time schedules and annual carryover up to set caps. * Nine Paid Holidays & Shift differentials for hourly staff (6% for PM Shift, 10% for Overnight Shift).  Weekend Shift differentials for hourly staff (5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend Overnight Shift) * Free CEUs, free Supervision for BBS Associate License, coaching, and mentorship
