Help

• You will use computer software to document contract phases of repairs and maintenance are being met and recorded.
• You will conduct housekeeping inspections during occupancy to ensure residents are meeting sanitation standards.
• You will compose changes to housing policies, procedures, and practices to increase efficiency.
• You will perform other duties at the discretion and direction of management.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintaining waiting lists and priorities, allotment start/stop procedures, EEO policies and fair housing laws/regulations; 2) Using Microsoft Office programs to prepare various reports including occupancy, vacancy rates, workload indicators, trend tracking and data collection; 3) Counseling customers regarding community housing, standards of conduct, procedures for addressing landlord/tenant disputes and fiscal responsibility; and 4) Using regulations governing conditions of occupancy in community housing. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

I have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree.

OR

Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree.

OR

Successful completion of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.ORA combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.

This announcement uses the Defense Industrial Base, Major Range and Test Facilities direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.
