About This Role The Staff Nurse in Ambulatory Care for Pediatric Primary Care Clinic provides professional nursing care to patients under supervision, focusing on diagnosing and treating health problems through various nursing methods. Highlights Pay: $112,775/year Location: New York, NY Facility: Gotham Health Department/Unit: PEDIATRIC PRIMARY CARE CLINIC Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift (8:00 A.M – 4:30 P.M) What You'll Do Identify and discriminate between physical and psycho-social signs and symptoms. Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate the nursing regimen for assigned patients/clients. Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes on patients/clients. Interpret and report responses of patients/clients to appropriate members of the health team. Participate with interdisciplinary health team members to plan a comprehensive patient care program. Determine and assign components of the nursing regimen to allied nursing personnel. Provide teaching, guidance, and direction to allied nursing personnel in patient care. Participate in defining, implementing, maintaining, and interpreting standards of nursing practice. Participate in departmental and interdisciplinary conferences affecting nursing practice. Maintain professional competence through participation in continuing education and other learning experiences. Requirements Experience One or more years of post-graduate experience as a full-time Registered Nurse in an Ambulatory Care or similar outpatient setting preferred. Licenses & Certifications Valid Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification (AMB-BC) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) preferred. Additional Compensation Annual education differential based on degree: Bachelors in allied health discipline = $900 Masters in allied health discipline = $1,200 Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) = $1,800 Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) = $2,000 Doctorate in Education, Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing (DNP) = $2,500 Annual certification differential ranging from $1,878 up to $4,878 for recognized certifications. Annual nursing experience differential ranging from $987 up to $8,190 for up to 10 years of experience.
