MDS Nurse

Position Summary: Village Green Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate MDS Nurse to join our clinical team. This role is responsible for coordinating and completing the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments in accordance with federal and state regulations, ensuring accurate reimbursement, and supporting high-quality resident care. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and complete MDS assessments (OBRA and PPS) in a timely and accurate manner Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and state regulations Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans Monitor clinical documentation to support coding accuracy and reimbursement Participate in care conferences and communicate effectivey with residents and families Track and manage MDS schedules and submission deadlines Assist with audits and quality improvement initiatives Qualifications: Current RN or LPN license in the state of Ohio Previous MDS experience preferred (training available for the right candidate) Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and RAI process Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Strong communication and documentation skills Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay Retirement plan options Supportive team environment and opportunities for growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
