Cloud Platform Engineer - Level 2 (Top Secret)

We are seeking a highly motivated early career DevSecOps engineer to join the Arctic Gates program within the Victor Program Area. The role focuses on developing and integrating an operational command and control system in a virtual cloud environment. Responsibilities and Deliverables Stand up and support development and production deployment pipelines and platform services. Implement common authentication, security compliance, and vulnerability mitigation across the platform. Develop cloud standards and guidance, and perform AWS platform integration. Support collaboration with Integration Working Groups, Factory Test events, Disaster Recovery, and Technical Debt work‑off. Participate in Agile release and sprint planning, demonstrations, and Incremental Design Reviews (IDRs). Travel may be required to support working groups, customer meetings, and integration events. Basic Qualifications Experience automating deployment and managing containerized applications (e.g., Kubernetes/Helm). Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure in the cloud (e.g., Terraform/Ansible). Proficiency with Python or Bash. Active Top Secret security clearance required at the start of employment and throughout the term. Ability to obtain additional program accesses. Desired Skills Security+ Certification (or DoD 8140/8570.01‑M equivalent), or willingness to obtain certification. Experience with Linux system administration, networking fundamentals, and Windows domain administration. Software development experience in JavaScript/Node or C#. Cloud experience with OpenStack or AWS. Experience with COTS/FOSS configuration and integration. Experience working on an Agile scrum team and using Agile tools (Jira, Version One, Confluence). Active TS/SCI clearance. Security Clearance Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen to be considered. Clearance Level: TS/SCI Work Location and Schedule Onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Shift: First Schedule: 9‑80 with every other Friday off.
