Description The Project Management Manager will lead the development and implementation of the City’s One Water Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This position will manage certain elements of the One Water projects such as: project prioritization, capital improvement planning, portfolio tracking and performance metrics. Responsibilities Developsand manages comprehensive project plans that define project scope,objectives, and deliverables. Leadsproject teams, facilitating communication and collaboration to ensureproject goals are met efficiently. Monitorsproject progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues orrisks that arise. Managesthe business use case process for utility capital projects and investments. Managesthe annual capital improvement planning process for One Water. Ensuresstrategic alignment of utility investments through development andtracking of performance metrics. Supportsthe quarterly project tracking process for each portfolio. Preparesand presents regular project updates to stakeholders, including governmentofficials and public entities. Conductsthorough program evaluations, recommending improvements and best practicesfor future program improvements. Requirements Bachelor'sdegree in Project Management, Public Administration, BusinessAdministration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Minimumof 5 years of experience in project management, preferably withingovernment and/or water utility administration. ProjectManagement Professional certification or ability to obtain within 6months. Proventrack record of successfully managing large-scale projects from inceptionto completion. Strongknowledge of project management methodologies, tools and software. Exceptionalleadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate andmanage diverse teams. Excellentanalytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of making sounddecisions under pressure. Effectivecommunication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engageand influence stakeholders at all levels.
