Permanent physician opportunity Seeking board certified or board eligible physicians Open to physicians trained in: Geriatrics Internal Medicine Palliative Care/Hospice Family Medicine Provide primary medical care to nursing home patients throughout Bergen County Conduct patient assessments, review medical histories, and evaluate lab and imaging results Diagnose medical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans Prescribe medications and treatment regimens while monitoring allergies and side effects Provide lifestyle and dietary counseling to improve patient health outcomes Collaborate closely with nursing home staff, specialists, and multidisciplinary care teams Refer patients to subspecialists when appropriate Participate in quality improvement initiatives, infection control efforts, and patient safety programs Maintain accurate and timely documentation within eClinicalWorks EMR Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state/federal privacy regulations Ideal candidate enjoys collaborative, team-based patient care and improving outcomes in the nursing home setting Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more! Qualifications: MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. medical school Completion of an accredited residency program or U.S. residency/5-year pathway Active New Jersey medical license required DEA and DPS registration required or obtainable during credentialing Experience with EMR systems preferred Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical judgment skills Organization Information: Large multispecialty group with more than 140 physicians and 100 APPs Offices located throughout New York City and surrounding areas Collaborative and supportive provider environment Competitive compensation package Annual salary range approximately $190,000-$240,000 Comprehensive benefits package offered Credentialing process typically takes approximately 2-3 months Area Information: Bergen County is one of the most desirable areas in northern New Jersey, offering an excellent blend of suburban comfort and easy access to New York City.
