Business Consulting Business Analyst-System Migrations

NTT DATA Services is looking for a Business Consulting Business Analyst-System Migrations to join their team in Mckinney, Texas (US-TX), United States (US). The Business Analyst will be responsible for conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design. They will also develop analysis and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform discovery and analysis of requirements based on current system functions, and business needs
• Elicit business requirements and translate them to functional requirements
• Clarify any questions the engineering team has
• Produce data maps between source and target systems
• Interpret data and analyze results
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and project co-ordination are required.

Preferred Skills:

• Proven working experience as a business analyst or business data analyst
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
• Experience in system migrations efforts preferred

Education: Bachelors degree in a related field. Preferred Experience: 3 years of interpreting data, analyzing results. 3 years in data mapping projects. 3 years of SQL. Strong communication skills. Life insurance industry experience is a plus.

Top skills: Integration/Mapping experience, insurance background, data mapping between systems, SQL, project coordination.

Basic Qualifications: Minimum 5 years Business Consulting-BA-Data Analysis-Data Mapping experience.
