Job Description Subject: VDI Engineer Location: King of Prussia, PA Duration: 1+ Year (likely to be extended) Need: EAD GC, GC, USC Only! Qualifications JOB DETAILS Experience with Hyperconvergence is a plus Data Center in a box is a plus as well Administer and manage 8000 VDI’s sprawl and its infrastructure. Provide Level 3 problem resolution and manage escalation for complex IT incidents. Work with Hardware and Software Vendor Technical Support Representatives. Perform monthly updates to the VMWare Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) non-persistent Master/Gold Image. Perform technical reviews and evaluation of new technology projects and solutions. Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes and service records. Assist in assessment of new technology and business trends in order to help deliver cost-effective solutions and services. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of current trends and developments and provide recommendations to IT Operations management on IT technology and issues to build better ITS solutions that support and drive business decisions.
