Job Title Assembly B Job Code 39494 Job Location Rochester, NY Job Schedule 3/36 (3rd Shift) Job Description This person will contribute to the company’s success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro‑mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub‑assemblies, or end products. Essential Functions Performs a variety of mechanical or electro‑mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub‑assemblies, or end products in a repetitive nature Follows an engineered assembly process, but may require the ability to adjust, fit, or align parts Uses hand tools such as long nose pliers, screwdriver, soldering irons, and wrenches Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels Uses Microsoft Office programs Identifies problems and contributes to process improvements Performs some hand soldering on electronic assemblies Willingness to learn and work in a fast‑paced, flexible production environment Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks Traverses across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours) Able to transport up to 25 lbs Other duties as assigned Ability to work overtime as needed No travel required No security clearance required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior or relevant experience, or 2 years post‑secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience No security clearance required Preferred Additional Skills Strong mechanical background L3Harris product knowledge Capacity to identify problems and contribute to process improvements through the L3Harris E3 continuous improvement process Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and bills of material J‑STD‑001 knowledge Strong customer focus Salary and Benefits In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $36,920 – $63,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as the final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
