PATIENT AMBASSADOR (FULL TIME)

We are hiring immediately for a full-time PATIENT AMBASSADOR position at Henry Ford Providence Novi. The role is a full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, located at Grand River Avenue, Novi, MI 48374. Applications are accepted online only. Job Summary As a Patient Ambassador, you will serve as the primary representative of the Patient Experience Team for your assigned unit. You are responsible for completing patient interviews and new admission visits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct new admission visits to all assigned units within the timeframe established by unit leadership and patient experience leadership. Ensure that all employees demonstrate an aggressive hospitality orientation toward customers and clients. Support client satisfaction to ensure account retention. Promote client awareness of the Patient Experience Program. Assist in customizing programs to meet each account's unique needs as required. Assist in developing and/or monitoring a department/unit patient satisfaction action plan and reporting to clients as needed. Assist in effective employee relations programs at the unit site. Encourage employee creativity and innovation. Provide recognition for employees when programs are implemented successfully. Complete housekeeping tasks when requested by customers or patients. Resolve housekeeping issues that do not meet standards and ensure follow‑up and completion in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior patient ambassador and customer service experience. Thorough knowledge of office procedures and contract administration. Ability to use working knowledge of the environment to meet established goals and objectives. Fiscal and budgetary skills.
