ABOUT THIS ROLE The Check Cashing Analyst will play a key role in the enforcement of check cashing policies and best practice principles while verifying and analyzing checks. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls from customers, agents, and issuers while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Respond to inquiries and provide accurate information via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
• Accurately enter, review, and verify customer and transaction data in proprietary systems,
• Perform comprehensive check verification, including validating issuer and payee information prior to transaction approval.
• Contact check issuers directly to confirm authenticity, validity, and payment status before authorizing transactions.
• Identify discrepancies, potential fraud indicators, or policy exceptions and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Proactively analyze verification outcomes and recommend process improvements or solutions to management.
• Meet or exceed established quality assurance standards, productivity benchmarks, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Adhere strictly to company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to check cashing and fraud prevention

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Experience in customer service call center environment.
• Must have excellent phone etiquette.
• The key characteristics this individual must possess are having a positive attitude and being analytical.
• Able to type min 40 WPM.
• Check cashing or banking experience preferred.
• Must be flexible to work extended hours or weekends.
• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
