IT System Administrator

Kforce has a client in Lakeland, FL that is seeking an IT System Administrator. The IT System Administrator is primarily responsible for supporting our internal IT environment infrastructure. Some advanced technical experience is necessary, but more importantly, this should be an individual who is eager to learn, highly customer focused, patient, an effective communicator, self-initiating, has a positive attitude, and is able to prioritize and execute tasks in a timely fashion. Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Manage Service Requests, Incidents, and Problems through a ticketing system
• Help ensure day-to-day operations of Internal IT Infrastructure
• Understand PowerShell scripting, automating, monitoring, and alerting
• Advanced troubleshooting and administration of Windows-based applications, Operating Systems (Desktop and Server), and Server Roles (AD DS, DHCP, DNS, DFS, Print Server, File Server, Terminal Server, IIS, etc.)
• Administer and troubleshoot database technologies/software
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of Wi-Fi/Network
• May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or equivalent experience
• One to two years of systems administration experience
• Experience with managing Azure VMs and working In the Azure portal
• Experience with AI tools and infrastructure
• Experience with various Microsoft Office products, applications, and services
• Proficient with the O365 portal and Microsoft's Entra ID
• Experience with PowerShell
• Experience with Microsoft IT infrastructure standards and practices
