Licensed Veterinary Technician

Barker Animal Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. In this position, you will play a key role in both outpatient and procedural workflows, contributing to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit. Responsibilities Include Splitting time between exam room, outpatient, and surgical caseload support Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery for soft‑tissue surgeries, spays/neuters, and more Assisting in surgery and supporting a high‑volume dental program, including full‑mouth digital radiographs, oral charting, ultrasonic scaling, and polishing Performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and medication administration Running in‑house diagnostics and supporting laboratory sample collection Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service Schedule And Compensation Compensation: $27.00‑$32.00 per hour, for each hour worked This is a full‑time or part‑time position (part‑time 2‑3 days/week) with a flexible 4 × 10 schedule, Monday‑Friday with the possibility of rotating Saturday shifts in the future as our team grows. No on‑call or emergency hours.
