Accounts Payable Specialist

A client of Insight Global is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage supplier onboarding, vendor data governance, tax documentation compliance, and payment information administration. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for vendor master maintenance while supporting accounts payable operations, compliance initiatives, and process improvement projects. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with vendor management processes, and a solid understanding of tax and banking requirements in a global business environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and record invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy in billing
• Process expense reports from employees Identify discrepancies and escalate in appropriate manner
• Have knowledge of approved vendors and policies to avoid paying unauthorized invoices and expenses
• Maintain 1099s and generate report at year end

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Vendor Master, Accounts Payable, Procurement Operations, or Supplier Management.
• Experience managing supplier onboarding and vendor maintenance processes.
• Knowledge of tax documentation requirements, including W-9 and W-8 forms.
• Understanding of domestic and international banking and payment processes.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy with the ability to maintain confidential information.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
