Process Development Chemist

Revvity is hiring a Process Development Chemist to work onsite in Boston until the office relocates to Hopkinton, MA in August 2026. Overview As a Process Development Chemist, you will be integral to the manufacturing process of synthetic chemical products essential for scientific research worldwide. You will contribute to transfer, implementation, and ongoing production of our products in the laboratory setting, helping to introduce and manufacture both our legacy product line and new processes, ensuring the highest standards as AlphaLISA products enter new markets. Role & Responsibilities Execute product manufacturing according to established procedures, recording data, interpreting results and validating quality of data. Utilize traditional synthetic chemical techniques, including solid‑state chemistry, wet chemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry, HPLC, and analytical analysis for production and analysis of chemical compounds. Work safely and in compliance with applicable federal and local regulations, following written or electronic procedures and performing quality control. Ensure products are manufactured on time, within specifications, and at low cost. Support general lab functions, maintenance of equipment, product quality, packaging, on‑time delivery of products, ensuring cleanliness and good laboratory techniques. Participate in production procedure revisions and authorship. Participate in research and implementation of new and improved processes to maintain the highest standards as AlphaLISA products are introduced to new markets. Investigate and respond to complaints, familiar with CAPA systems, responding to inquiries from tech support, customer care and customers. Participate in continuous improvement of manufacturing methods. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a Life Sciences field and a minimum of two years of laboratory experience. Preferred Qualifications Good familiarity with synthetic chemical equipment and modern analytical tools such as HPLC, FTIR, UV‑Vis or related equipment. Ability to interpret data from biochemical, radiological and chemical assays, with an understanding of standard statistical tools. Knowledge of organizational principles, chemical processes, inventory control systems, 5S, and lean manufacturing. Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with prior experience in SAP or similar ERP systems. Compensation Range The annual base salary range for this full‑time position is $65,500–87,500.
