Sourcing Engineer

Solve complex manufacturing and supplier quality challenges using structured problem solving. Partner with Engineering to improve manufacturability and supplier capability. Analyze supplier performance and manufacturing data to drive continuous improvement. Support new product introductions, supplier transfers, and engineering changes. Leverage AI, automation, and digital tools to improve engineering effectiveness. What You'll Bring Required Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline. 2–5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, supplier quality, sourcing, or a related engineering discipline. Ability to read engineering drawings with working knowledge of GD&T. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Experience with PPAP, PFMEA, process capability, or structured root cause methodologies. Experience supporting manufacturing or supplier development. Experience with machining, casting, MIM, stamping, heat treating, coatings, or similar manufacturing processes. ERP/PLM experience. Experience leveraging AI or digital technologies to improve engineering or manufacturing processes. Travel Primarily Portland-based Approximately 3–5 trips annually, including 1–2 international supplier visits Our Hiring Process We hire for more than technical ability.
