Submit your application today or give us a call for more details!Qualifications (non-negotiable):Able to pass DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by Community Care LicensingAble to pass pre-employment physical and drug screeningHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperience in an assisted living environment preferredFlexible scheduling. Position may include weekends and holidaysJob Description:Prepare and serve food to residents in our communityEnsure all special dietary needs are met and preparing texture modified food as directedEnsure compliance with all record keeping, food safety and risk management requirementsTrain new kitchen aide and other staff on proper cooking routines and kitchen proceduresFollow facility menu and maintain portion control as directed by dietitianIdentify and develop new initiatives and areas of improvements to better serve our residentsOrder, receive, verify and sign for groceries and deliveriesMaintain and appropriately handle facility food budgetsResponsible for cleaning and maintenance of all kitchen equipment and dining room utensils, informing Administrator of any challenges or safety hazardsAttend all monthly in-services and facility staff meetings obtaining proper documentation of each meeting or trainingBe fully aware of individual resident likes, dislikes and health restrictionsSupervise food production for quality of products and servicePrepare and enforce daily, weekly and monthly kitchen cleaning schedules to maintain compliance with safety and health restrictionsWe offer a comprehensive benefits package for full time employees including medical, dental, vision insurance.TruCare Community offers:Competitive wagesPaid trainingGrowth opportunitiesBonus & incentive programsWalk-in applications are accepted daily at Human Resources Office from 8am to 4pm at 8516 Artesia Blvd., Bellflower CA.
