About theRole In the position of Sr Software Engineer I at Softheon,you'lllead significant aspects of our software development efforts, using yourexpertiseto design, develop, and refine solutions that advance our healthcare technology offerings. Your work will influence the direction of our products, andyou'llmentor junior engineers, shaping the technical future of Softheon while delivering impactful software solutions. YouWill: Advanced Software Development and Innovation Expert Development:Utilizecomplete knowledge in specialized areas to architect, develop, andmaintainsophisticated software solutions with .NET. Innovative Solutions: Suggest variations in approaches to complex software problems and contribute significantly to the development of new theories and methods. Leadership and Project Management Project Leadership: Lead small projects effectively, managing timelines and deliverables with a high degree of competence and independence. Technical Authority: Serve as a journey-level professional with complete knowledge of software engineering, providingexpertisein the design and development of new applications and features. Mentorship and Team Development Mentorship: Act as a mentor and guide for junior engineers, helping them develop their skills and understanding of software development best practices. Analytical Problem Solving and Strategic Collaboration Analytical Problem Solving: Employ advanced problem-solving techniques to address problems of diverse scope, analyze data effectively, and develop innovative solutions. Strategic Collaboration: Build and enhance relationships with senior internal and external partners, advising on complex matters and persuading stakeholders when necessary. Talent Management Collaborate with the Talent team to actively engage in the hiring and recruitment process, including but not limited toparticipatingin interviews. Leverage industry networks andexpertisetoidentifyandattract top talent that aligns with the company'sobjectivesand values. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members within your department and across diverse functions. Play an integral role in shaping and reinforcing the overall company culture, promoting values that enhance teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement. Additional Responsibilities Must be available for on-call duty during peak periods, providing support outside of regular working hours as needed to ensure the timely resolution of critical issues. Although we work in a remote-first environment, all roles require in-person attendance at our headquarters approximately 2 times per year (in addition to other travel requirements for this specific role, if applicable). These visits are essential for team collaboration, strategic planning, and fostering deeper connections across the organization. Travel arrangements will be supported to ensure a seamless experience. Must reside in the Eastern or Central time zone of the United States. YouHave: Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field isrequired. Experience 4-6 years of related experience isrequired. Proven ability to lead projects and mentor others. Certifications Required (or to be obtained within90 daysof starting employment) AZ-900 AI-900 Skills Demonstratedexpertisein .NET. Strong communicationskills. Capable of managing senior relationships and influencing others. Knowledge Broad knowledge of software engineering principles. Attributes Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to devise solutions based on limited information and adapt existing methods to meet new challenges. What We Offer Softheon offers every full-time employee a comprehensive compensation and benefits packageincluding: For this position we offer a base pay of $135,000-$150,000, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as candidate location, qualifications, skill level, and competencies.
